Update on the Dream Mousse products!

Okay SO, Im still in love with the Maybelline dream matte mousse foundation.. its just as I remembered! It gives a full flawless matte coverage and it stayed pretty much all day!
The concealer.. I also love! It covered any imperfections without looking to cakey.
But for the blush - unless your someone who likes glitter and a shimmery face then this product isn't for you. I loved the shade of the blush, but once it was applied I found it left very visible glitter on your cheeks. Im not really fan, but I definitely love the idea of this product!

The cat eye effect! meoww..

Lately I have been super into the sultry cat eyes, actually I wouldn't even call it lately, id say ever since I mastered the liquid eyeliner iv always done a cat eye of some sort. Personally with my eye shape I love this look, its amazing how different my eyes look with out eyeliner, its like they don't even exist! Anyway, whether its a soft line with a little flick in the corner, or a thick liner/full wing extending from the corner of your eye, this look is pretty much a give in to any eye shape! These days with all the new make up being created were lucky enough to have a variety of ways to create this look!
examples:
- liquid liner
- gel liner

- felt liner
- pencil liner
With this variety its hard not to find something that works for you! I always find this look nice if you dont have as full of lashes as you would like, because it draws the attention away from your lashes and onto your eye shape! Although you can also add some lashes to add a little shazzam, glam & a hint of sex appeal to your look! With a little thickening of your liner, you can take your cat eye from day to night with a few easy strokes!

Banana chips!?

Thats right, you heard me!

BANANA CHIPS are my new obsession! I personally am not a fan of bananas, BUT I love banana flavored things.. weird right? I think its the texture of a banana I don't find appetizing, but banana chips are dried bananas, and when they are dried they get this glaze over them! When you bite into a banana chip its crunchy and basically tastes like banana candy, but what I find kinda nice is the after taste.. although its not super tasty it still reminds me I am eating a real fruit!
I get my banana chips in a fairly large box from sobeys for only 4 dollars! an awesome deal in my opinion because of the amount thats in it!

anyway, just thought id share a yummy snack!

deals, deals deals!!

Forever 21, La Senza & a little bit of Old Navy!!

Today was a very successful shopping day! My bestfriend and I went to the mall originally looking for some lingerie.. oh boy! But we managed to find WAY more then just that, and some awesome deals.
The grand total was $185.72.. sounds like a lot until you see what I got!
starting with Forever 21:
- 2 ring sets (a set with 3 rings) so a total of 6 rings
- an over sized ring with fake diamonds and a floral crystal in the middle
- a bunny ring
- a pair of dangley earings with a blue, cream and silver floral pattern
- a pink and black polka dot heart romper
- a pair of dark was jeans (only 12.80!!)

Now for La Senza:
- 2 bras for $36
- 3 panties for $25
- lingerie

last but not least, Old Navy:
we looked through old navy but didn't find much, but as we were leaving we spotted these awesome water bottles for $5, they were super cute and have the saying "live your life" on it!
When we got to the till the lady said 99 cents, I looked at her like she was crazy and said what!? she replied, these water bottles are from the clearance section!
SO, we got 2 awesome water bottles for only 99 cents! BEST deal of the day!!

Waiting on fb..

Holaa bloggeres, since iv already posted a video on fb and waited about 2 hours for it to upload then realizing it was the wrong video! .. I thought I may as well put the right video up and  blog while it loads.

So I have been watching alot of youtube gurus and have been noticing the maybelline dream matte mousse foundation has become popular again. I used to use this foundation back when I was probably 14 or 15 (im 18 now) and I remember liking it back then but then drug stores were coming out with more and more new and improved foundations.
Well anyway! I have ventured back to the mousse and decided to grab the foundation, concealer and even a blush! Iv been wanting to try out a cream blush, but this isn't really a cream blush since its a mousse, although I love the consistency already! The foundation seems just the way I remembered it, soft and fluffy but still with a full coverage! The concealer has the same consistency but actually feels a little creamier, which is nice! The blush is a gorgeous shade of pink and when you put it on it blends out into a soft rosy cheek!

I'll do another update soon and possibly a tutorial on how to use all three of these products!

nautical or not! + bows

NUATICAL IS THE NEW BLACK

Unfortunately I wasnt the first one to come up with what I think is the best thing in fashion right now!
the sexiness of a Sailor made girlie is the smartest/cutest/best thing anyone could have created. All the stores I got to right now, mostly forever 21 has the cutest nautical sailor tops.. when I think of sailors I think back to a time when women did sexy tasteful pin up photo shoots and by bringing back the nautical feel, It makes me feel as if im back in sexy pin up time.. but modernized of course!


But wait! Check out this sexy Victoria's Secret bikini! So unbelievably cute! -->



On another note.. how big are bows right now! I am the biggest bow headband fanatic, and when I walk into say forever 21 and see bow head bands.. its a give in to get them!

Head bands like the one to the right is an easy way to take a seexxxy outfit and make it cuute!
But you can always choose a different head band like one with some elegant sophisticated flowers off to the side to give a different feel!
